The thorax is now available as the first CT module. This examination is clinically performed very frequently and accounts for a good 25% of routine diagnostics.

With the well-known guided reporting technology, the entire spectrum of diseases in the thorax can be imaged and the reporting of almost all clinical examinations is possible. The spectrum of pathologies that can be imaged includes:

• Masses and tumors
• Infections
• Interstitial lung diseases
• Pulmonary artery emboli and infarcts
• Pulmonary hypertension
• Diseases of the pleura
• Trauma
• Bony changes such as fractures and tumors

 
Changes in the context of COVID-19 (SARS2) associated pneumonia can be fully represented with the module and the classification for the probability of COVID-19 infection is of course also included in the module.

As usual, the module impresses with its intuitive operation and a user-oriented state-of-the-art UX design with very clear localizers.
